Lorain County Scholastic Games Champions

Lake Ridge Academy won the championship match of the Scholastic Games of Lorain County! The team defeated Amherst Steele High School by a score of 550-310, earning Lake Ridge Academy its first Scholastic Games championship since 2010. Team captain, Tyler Young '22, earned his fourth consecutive Standout Scholar award, after several quick answers turned a slight mid-match deficit into what proved to be an insurmountable lead. Through its participation in Scholastic Games this year, the team also earned a $1,000 college tuition credit to a local college for a graduating LRA senior.
